|Blippo+ Review|Posted October 29th 2025|

Have you ever wanted to scroll through an aliens version of 90s cable television? Then look no further than Blippo+ by YACHT, Telefantasy Studios, Dustin Mierau (Playdate Version), and Noble Robot (Steam and Switch Version). Discover the planet Blip through its cable television system. You piece together while watching their television what their world is like and what their biggest sensations are. You are a person on Earth experiencing their television through a wormhole called "The Bend." The game is told through the Electronic Program Guide, which is like our version of a television guide and on the Playdate version it is based on a real 10 week cycle for television. There are 11 batches of 1-minute television programming and each batch contains 45-50 different episodes spread between about 10 channels. These play in real time, so if you miss a show you have to wait for it to come back around. This game is mostly like, what if a company made a good FMV game. Overall, I personally enjoyed it, and will not get much into spoilers as I think others should play it. It really makes you feel like you are watching another civilization, however, as simple things are different. For instance, their word for coffee is "murk." It is a highly enjoyable experience, and I would recommend people to play it. It is $15 on Steam and on Nintendo Switch.
